One of our appraiser friends Rachel Massey has done a lot of research on the residential market movements for Washtenaw County. April first she did an updated scan of her “Contract To Listing Ratio”.

This looks at the number of listings in an area compared to the number that is actually under contract. You can see the different colors represent different ratios, which means Seller’s market (Green), balance market (Yellow), and buyer’s market (Orange). (Note a large number of new construction offerings in Dexter create the “buyer’s market”. It isn’t a perfect analysis.)
