Farmington Hills is a nice area of Oakland County north of Detroit. A lot of the housing stock was built during the great expansion of the auto industry after world war II. For example, this home was built in the late 1950s.

This part of Oakland county has a lot of automotive and technology-related industries so it is a very vibrant community.

When it was built it was a bit “out in the country” so it originally had a shallow well for a water supply and a half-acre lot which is quite large for a home with such a convenient location.
