In a previous post, we talked about the five things a buyer agent should always review with you when touring a basement together:

5. Plumbing
We certainly aren’t home inspectors, but regular real estate agents are often trained to avoid discussing a home’s condition.
That doesn’t make sense if a company is actually acting as your buyer’s agent.
We always want to have a flavor of the condition of a home before we even start negotiating. Once we have a purchase agreement in place we will normally have a good home inspector look at the details.
